What the app stores — and where
Everything AlarmPop needs lives locally on your device: your alarms and their settings, mission preferences and difficulty, streaks, wake-up scores and stats, and onboarding choices. None of it is transmitted to us or anyone else. Deleting the app deletes this data.
What we don't do
- No user accounts and no sign-in.
- No analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
- No selling, sharing, or monetizing of data — we sell an app, not you.
- No sleep or health data collection.
Device permissions
AlarmPop asks only for what a mission needs, and processes everything on-device:
- Alarms (AlarmKit): required so alarms ring through Silent mode and Focus, like the built-in Clock app.
- Motion: counts shakes and movement for motion missions.
- Microphone: Sing It Back listens for the pitch of notes you hum or sing while the mission is active. That audio is analyzed on-device and is never recorded, stored, or uploaded.
- Camera (camera missions): used only while a camera mission is active. Frames are analyzed on your device and not uploaded.
You can decline or revoke any permission in Settings; missions that need it simply won't be offered.
Purchases
Subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings.
This website
alarmpop.app collects nothing. There are no forms, no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking cookies. If you email hello@alarmpop.app we'll of course have your message and address, and we use them only to reply to you.
Children
AlarmPop is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. Material changes will be called out in the app's release notes.
